Winemaking Notes
This Sauvignon Blanc is a luxurious style with a round mouthfeel that maintains its elegance with scents of white flowers, a palate of fresh apple and pear, and a lingering finish with notes of holiday spice and clean minerality.
Vineyard Notes
Trinity Ridge Vineyard is a dramatic growing site at the height of elevation in the Moon Mountain District above Sonoma Valley. Nine acres of vines carved out of this 52-acre site, with its rugged, rocky, volcanic terrain, offer a diverse mosaic of soils, microclimates and exposures. This allows us to produce single varietal wines of great intensity, complexity, and minerality.
At an elevation of 1,700 feet, the south and west-facing blocks with their basaltic soils are ideal for Cabernet Sauvignon and Sauvignon Blanc. Syrah and Chardonnay thrive in the deeper soil of the cooler bowl section of the vineyard.
